- —Sachsenring is compact and spectator-friendly. Every seat has a good view.
- —Chemnitz is 20 minutes away and is the best base — hotels cost 50% more during race week than normal.

- —ADAC members get 10% off select grandstand tickets — worth checking before you buy.
- —The natural grandstand (hillside embankment) gives great sightlines and is cheaper than seated sections.
