Shuttle Bus from Station to Circuit
- — The circuit is a 15-20 minute walk from Hohenstein-Ernstthal station — most fans walk
- — A free shuttle also runs from the P12 car park (Gersdorf) starting at 05:00
- — Follow the signs and crowds from the station — the route is well marked
- — Gates open at 06:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Driving
- — P12 (Gersdorf) is the main free car park — access via A72, Stollberg-Nord exit, then B180. Free shuttle to the circuit from 05:00
- — P11 (closer to circuit) and P10 (directly at entrance) are paid and must be pre-booked — they sell out in advance
- — Follow race-day traffic signs to designated parking zones
- — Post-race exit can take 1-2 hours on Sunday — the roads around Hohenstein-Ernstthal have limited capacity
- — If camping at P10 or other campsite areas, parking is included
Organised Coach Transfers

Post-Race Exit Strategy
The Sachsenring sits in a small town with limited road capacity. Post-race traffic on Sunday can take 1-2 hours to clear.
- —Option A: Leave before the podium. You save 1-2 hours but miss the celebration.
- —Option B: Stay for the podium and wait 30-45 minutes. The initial rush clears and transport is easier.
- —Option C: Camp and leave Monday morning. Avoids all Sunday traffic and lets you enjoy the post-race atmosphere.
- —Shuttle buses back to Hohenstein-Ernstthal station run until approximately 1 hour after the final event.

Chemnitz
25 km / 30 min by trainBest base for most fans. Reasonable hotel availability, restaurants, and a 30-minute train ride. Book early for race weekend.
Zwickau
30 km / 25 min driveSmaller city with some hotel options. Home of the August Horch Museum. Good alternative if Chemnitz is full.
Leipzig
80 km / 1h by trainMajor city with excellent nightlife, restaurants, and hotels. Longer commute but the city itself is worth visiting.
