What Happens at the Gate

1

Queue for security check

Every person passes through a security check before entering. The queue builds quickly on race day — arrive early. As a debut event, allow extra time for any first-year operational issues.

2

Open your bag for inspection

Security staff will check your bag. Be cooperative and open all compartments. Prohibited items will be confiscated.

3

Prohibited items are confiscated — not stored

There is typically no left-luggage or storage facility at MotoGP event gates. Anything prohibited is taken and not returned. Leave prohibited items at your accommodation or in your car.

4

Bottle cap check

Some MotoGP circuits remove bottle caps at the gate. Check official rules closer to the event. A sport-top bottle avoids this issue entirely.

5

Ticket scan

After the bag check, your ticket is scanned. Have it ready — printed or digital. A printed ticket is recommended as a backup, especially at a debut venue where scanning systems are untested.
